Kendo, the “way of the sword” is a difficult, yet extremely enthralling discipline. Through study of and practice with the sword, participants gradually discover its virtues, which can only be revealed through good hard group training.
In addition to conveying the meaning of the “art of the sword”, the course aims to refine one’s character and aid in the discovery of the values linked to martial disciplines: sincerity, respect, courage, strength of character and altruism.
The course held at Ki Dojo meets two times per week and is open to all (children, adults, men and women). Periodically, the course will be enriched by presentations and theoretical lessons of Japanese culture.
Expert in Japanese art and particularly ancient Katane, he has studied with various masters such as Ichikura Junichi, Nochinohara Kenzo, Endo, and especially Yamamura Masaaki and Yabe Mitsushi.
